Bonduel is regarded as a highly skilled metal artist, known for collaborations with modernist architect Paul Felix and glass artist Michel Martens, all considered among the leading figures in their field in Belgium.

About Roger Bonduel

Roger Bonduel (1930–2019) was a Belgian artist known for his work in metal, positioned at the intersection of modernist art and architecture. Initially trained as a painter, he developed a distinctive sculptural language in materials such as steel, copper, and bronze.

His collaborations with architect Paul Felix and glass artist Michel Martens played a key role in the evolution of post-war church architecture in Belgium. Bonduel's work is defined by a precise balance between technical control and material expression.
