About

Maison Moderniste is a Belgium-based gallery specialising in collectible modernist and post-war design, with a strong focus on works by Belgian architects and designers, alongside selected European and international work. Founded by interior architect Annelies Hofmans, with experience at Hub architects and AR-TUR, the gallery is shaped by architectural thinking, materiality and proportion.

Collection

The selection has grown from a sustained interest in modernist architecture and its interiors, where furniture and art were conceived as part of a larger whole. The collection reflects a particular affinity for modernist Belgian design and post-war abstract art, with works selected for their quality, patina and architectural relevance. Maison Moderniste does not follow trends, but maintains a clear and consistent direction, selecting objects with care, moving between local relevance and an international perspective. The collection is continuously evolving, offering new discoveries for collectors, architects and design enthusiasts seeking pieces of character.
