VITTORIO NOBILI, Medea Chair with Armrest for Fratelli Tagliabue

Out of stock

Fantastic Medea dining chair, designed by Vittorio Nobili and produced by Fratelli Tagliabue in Italy during the 1950s. This chair perfectly represents the organic modernist style, featuring  asculpted teak wood seat supported by black enameled steel legs and highlighted with brass hardware. The natural beauty of the wood grain is accentuated by the elegantly curved plywood form, making this chair an iconic piece of mid-century design and highly collectible.

The chair remains in original, authentic condition with some scratches consistent with age and use.
