WILLY VAN DER MEEREN, G1 Boomerang Nesting Table for Tubax

A rare and highly collectible pair of original first edition G1 Boomerang nesting tables, designed in 1953 by Belgian architect Willy Van Der Meeren for Tubax, a pioneering manufacturer of steel furniture. The design reflects Van Der Meeren's interest in rational, cost-efficient production through innovative prefabrication methods. The tables feature a black lacquered metal rod frame and Formica tops.

The tables are in nice condition, showing an appropriate patina, and retaining their original screws.

About Willy Van Der Meeren
