This exclusive Top Mouton edition of Maarten Van Severen's CN° II chair was crafted in limited quantities by hand. Featuring a thin sheet of aluminum resting upon an aluminum frame with square front legs. The chair has a sanded finish complemented by a natural wax treatment. Intentionally designed by Van Severen to showcase signs of human use, this chair invites users to leave their mark to enrich the piece. This collector's item has earned its place in the MoMA in New York.

About Maarten Van Severen

Maarten Van Severen (1956–2005) was a Belgian designer and interior architect, known for his radical clarity of form and material. Working initially by hand, he developed furniture that balances archetypal simplicity with an exceptional level of precision.

His approach placed strong emphasis on the tactile and natural qualities of materials, often left untreated to reveal their origin and to evolve through use. Van Severen's work reflects a belief that objects gain meaning over time, shaped by the traces of everyday life.
