Beautiful U-Line BA 11 table lamp, designed by Maarten Van Severen in 1997 for the Belgian brand Light. Made of anodized aluminum, the lamp features a 360º rotating rod and an adjustable arm that moves up and down.

The desk lamp remains in very good condition and is marked as one of U-Line's first productions by Light, making it even more attractive and desirable as a collector's item.

About Maarten Van Severen

Maarten Van Severen (1956–2005) was a Belgian designer and interior architect, known for his radical clarity of form and material. Working initially by hand, he developed furniture that balances archetypal simplicity with an exceptional level of precision.

His approach placed strong emphasis on the tactile and natural qualities of materials, often left untreated to reveal their origin and to evolve through use. Van Severen's work reflects a belief that objects gain meaning over time, shaped by the traces of everyday life.
